Native to Rhode Island (born in New Jersey), Christopher Moon is a keen observer of the human condition. He plays a slim-body Martin guitar for a lighter acoustic/electric sound, which he combines with intricate harmonica that mix in harmony with a unique, rusty hook of a voice that is surprisingly flexible. Whether playing solo or with a band, his shows are compelling. His first full length album, Shine, offers a diverse selection of songs, rustic vocals, finger-plucked ballads and more complex developed songs with bass and drums, as well as live tracks.

Christopher is actively involved in Singing Out Against Hunger and provides sound engineering for one of its premiere venues, Coastal Roasters, as well as preforming throughout the weekend. In its 10th year, it has raised over $104,000.
